Ilkka Immonen

Development Manager, OAMK

Serial founder, startup builder & operator | Game industry veteran | Driving growth at Siirtokuva & supporting founders via StartupOulu

I build companies — and help others do the same.

For 20+ years I’ve founded, led and scaled game studios (BON Games, Lapland Studio). I’ve raised seed capital, shipped titles across mobile, PC and Nintendo, and collaborated with global brands and talent including Wesley Snipes, Nightwish, Nintendo, Supercell etc.

Alongside that path I’ve also shaped the Finnish game and startup ecosystem: Head of Business Development at the Ministry of Employment and the Economy, Head of Game Business Education at Aalto University, lecturer at the University of Jyväskylä, and ongoing coach/advisor to founders.

Today I combine two roles:

At Siirtokuva Oy (Hallinto / board) I focus on administration, growth and key-account development. We’ve scaled the company into leading Scandinavian pure-play DTF transfer specialist (production in Tampere, Vantaa and Turku, Stockholm and Tallinn). I’ve brought in and developed larger clients such as IKH, Kesko, Tools and Tappara — helping turn a specialised craft into a high-volume, high-speed operation that now delivers hundreds of thousands of transfers annually.

At OAMK / StartupOulu (Development Manager) I open doors for founders: investor introductions, funding pathways, networks and practical coaching grounded in real experience of building, raising and scaling companies.

What I bring:

Hands-on founder & operator experience (idea → funding → product → revenue → bigger clients)
Proven ability to land and grow larger B2B accounts
Deep knowledge of the Finnish funding, start-up and manufacturing landscapes
Strong network across VCs, corporates, public sector and universities

If you’re building something and need an introduction, sparring partner or a reality check — or if you’re a company looking for a reliable DTF partner — feel free to reach out.

Tuomas Jomppanen

Startup Coach, OAMK

Tuomas is a rare combination of a developer and a designer. His 8 US patents in fintech and mobile technology show the technical depth. His Red Dot Design awards show he knows that user experience is your competitive advantage.

As a CTO, he built the tech that took a company from zero to the Helsinki Stock Exchange in six years. He has also done it for himself, he built a SaaS company alone and sold it to a company in Silicon Valley. Before all that, he was one of the first people at OP Pivo, helping build what became Finland's most popular banking app. He's seen what works at every stage.

If you're building a startup, Tuomas has actually done it. Multiple times. He's made the mistakes so you don't have to. He knows the shortcuts that work and the ones that don't.
